Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to digital accessibility in line with WCAG 2.2 Level AA

1. Scope and Commitment

Blck Alpaca OG is committed to making its website accessible. Our benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance Level AA, together with the harmonised European standard EN 301 549.

This statement applies to the website available at blckalpaca.at. We provide it voluntarily: as a B2B service provider without consumer-facing online contracting (no online shop, no paid booking), our current scope of functionality most likely does not fall within the mandatory legal requirements for accessibility in e-commerce (implementing the European Accessibility Act — in Germany the BFSG, in Austria the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz). We nonetheless consider digital inclusion an obligation.

2. Conformance Status

This website is largely conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Largely conformant" means that most requirements are met, while some content or functionality is not yet fully accessible.

This assessment is based on a combination of automated testing (axe-core and Google Lighthouse across several page types) and a manual expert and source-code review against the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria, including keyboard operation and screen-reader compatibility.

3. Non-Accessible Content

The content listed below is not (yet) fully accessible for the reasons stated. We are working continuously to improve it:

  • Video content: some videos (e.g. within case studies) do not yet consistently provide captions or transcripts. Their gradual provision is in preparation (WCAG 1.2.2 / 1.2.3).
  • Editorial content: in older articles maintained via the content management system, the order of heading levels may occasionally deviate from the ideal hierarchy (WCAG 1.3.1).
  • Embedded third-party content: for embedded media from external providers we cannot guarantee full accessibility in every case.

If you notice any further barriers, we would be grateful for your feedback (see Section 5).

4. Preparation of this Statement

The accessibility assessment is based on a self-evaluation. It was supported by automated testing tools (axe-core, Google Lighthouse) as well as a manual review of the source code and of keyboard operation.
